Gladys V. Barclay

Gladys V. Barclay was born June 6, 1918 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Bruce and Naomah Jernigan Talley.She was united in marriage to William Wallace Barclay who preceded her in death April 29, 1989.Miss Barclay was a Homemaker . She was a member of the Moore's Schoolhouse Baptist Church. She was a member of the Senior Citizen Club. She loved Gospel music, singing in church, playing rook and spades, church dinners, visiting with friends and fishing.Miss Barclay departed this life on December 4, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 5 Months, 28 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Ann (Barclay) Marlow of Cordova, TN, Shirley Faye (Barclay) Ferguson of Adamsville, TN; a son, Roy Wallace Barclay of Bethel Springs, TN; 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Miss Barclay was preceded in death by a son, William Jay (Bill) Barclay; a sister, Lois Stanley; three brothers, Aubrey Talley, Hughie Talley and Jimmy Talley.
