Glada Paulette Burkeens

Mrs. Burkeens passed away Sunday at Bolivar General Hospital.
A homemaker and wife of Lonnie Burkeens, who survives, she was born to Clifton and Sylvia Hatley Sisco, both of whom preceded her in death and spent most of her life here. She loved ceramics and flowers and attended Hebron Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on April 16, 1965, survivors include a son, Ronnie Burkeens of Bolivar; a daughter, Paula McAlpin of Bolivar; two sisters, Katherine ann Bishop of Selmer and Betty Holmes of Memphis; two brothers, Sam Sisco of Bolivar and Larry Sisco of Middleton; three grandchildren, Ronnie Scott Burkeens, Blake Madley and Ashlee McAlpin; and two step grandchildren, Chris Beard and Dakota Burkeens. She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Sisco.
