Gertie Theo Swope

She was born and reared in Dyer County, Bogota, TN, the daughter of the late Swanny and Pearl Thurmond Bennett. She attended school in Dyer County and was married to Millard F. Wade in 1927, they made their home in the Montezuma Community of Chester County where he farmed. Mr. Wade died in 1972. She was married to Curtis Swope in 1974 and Mr. Swope died in 1987.
She is survived by a son Hughlon Wade of Washington, IL and a daughter Faye Ellerman of Austin, TX.
