Gerard Remillard

He was born in Vernont and educated in Canada. He served with the U.S. Air Corp during WWII and Korea. He worked for General Motors for 30 years. He was married to Emilee Reed in 1969. She died in 1992. Mr. Remillard moved to Henderson in 1993 and was married to Iva Ellis on Sept. 19, 2002.He attended Petra Ministries Church and was a member of the United Auto Workers and enjoyed playing the guitar.He is survived by his wife, Iva Ellis Remillard of Henderson; a daughter, Darlene Martinez of Bakersville, CA; three sons, Gerard Jean Paul Remillard,Jr. of Oxford, MI, Rick Remillard of Bakersville, CA and Garry Remillard of Higland, MI; a stepdaughter, Minnie Sue Massengill of Henderson and a stepson, Jerry Ward (Carol) of Henderson; 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
