Geraldine Talley

Geraldine Talley departed this life on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the age of 78 years, 1 month, and 1 day. She was born in McNairy County, Tennessee, on November 11, 1943, the daughter of the late Leonard P. and Beatrice Hattie Hindman Brumley. In February of 1959, she was united in marriage to Nelson Ander Talley, who preceded her in death on September 16, 2021.

Geraldine lived in Hardin County most of her life. She worked at Brown Shoe Company as an assembly line worker and was a member of Eureka Methodist Church. Geraldine enjoyed playing Bingo, sewing, raising cockatiel birds, and riding around especially at Shiloh Military Park. She loved her family and entertaining them.

Geraldine is survived by her children, Connie Pinson and her husband Billy, Nelson Ray Talley and Carol Ann, all of Savannah, Tennessee, Karen Warren and her husband Blake of Waynesboro, Tennessee, and Brandon Talley and his wife Chelsea of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Stephanie White and her husband Justin, Brian Michael Pinson and his wife Kristie, Daniel Warren and his wife Macey, Natalie Battles and her husband Eric, Dillon Warren and his wife Kristen, Elora Talley, and Rayna Talley; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Kemp and her husband Paul of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Dianne Schmidt and her husband John of Tupelo, Mississippi; and her brother, Rickey Brumley of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Geraldine was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lily Talley; sister, Margaret Harmon; and brothers, Harold O'Neal, David Carroll, James Brumley, Larry Brumley, and Doug Brumley.
