Geraldine Rich

Geraldine (Gerri) Rich was born August 5, 1918 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ira and Ellen Robinson Tidwell.She was united in marriage to Wilbert P. Rich in February of 1939. Mr. Rich preceded her in death in January of 1969. Mrs. Rich was a homemaker, and also worked in Memphis as a nanny for several years. She was a former member of Clear Creek Baptist Church in the Lawton community. Mrs. Rich departed this life on February 10, 2008 at the home of her son in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 6 Months, 5 Days. She is survived by her son, Don Rich and wife Mindy of Memphis, TN; a sister, Mary Nell Browning of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Shawn Rich and wife Amy of Memphis, TN and Sarah (Rich) Watson and husband Micky of Memphis, TN; six great grandchildren: Justin Rich, Jake Rich, Ashley Rich, Brian Rich, Emily Jane Rich and Tyler Rich; and several nieces and nephews.
