GERALDINE WILLIAMS CROWELL
Milledgeville: Geraldine Crowell, age 83, died Friday, May 14th at Jackson General Hospital.
Mrs. Crowell was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Susie Laura Hodges Williams. She attended schools in Chester County and married J. C. Crowell in 1944. They made their home at Milledgeville. Mr. Crowell proceeded in death. Mrs. Crowell was a member of the Milledgeville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by six children; Nelson Crowell and wife Maxiene of Olive Branch, MS, Jerry Crowell and wife Jean of Enville, Jimmy Crowell and wife Sherrie of Adamsville, Nancy Cates and husband Poodle of Brownsville, Peggy Scott of Parsons, and Darlene Shutt and husband Ronnie of Scotts Hill. She is also survived by two sisters Lorraine Burrow of Enville and Priscilla Gilbert of Enville, 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Kevin Clenney and two sisters; Virginia Bishop Bivens and Doris Latham, and four brothers; Cecil Williams, Charles Williams, Sanders Williams and Billy Joe Williams.
