Geraldine Cole

Geraldine M. Cole of Waynesboro, TN was born February 20, 1933 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Frank Martin and Ersie Todd Martin Wilson. She was united in marriage to James T. Cole on January 11, 1951.



Mrs. Cole was a retired from Genesco and was a child care worker. She was a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



Mrs. Cole departed this life on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 9 Months, 26 Days.



She is survived by her husband, James T. Cole of Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Joy Cole Carton and husband, Joseph of Decatur, AL, Jana Cole Crane and husband, Robert of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Bobby Cole Crane and wife, Jenifer of Inver Grove, MN, Joshua Martin Crane and companion, Candice Simmons of Brandon, MS, Jessica Cole Reid and husband, Ike of Cherokee, AL; great-grandchildren, Taylar Rose Crane, Chloe Rene Crane, and Lilly Marie Crane all of Inver Grove, MN.



In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by a son, Jarvis Wayne Cole.



Services will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton and Jeff Stiles officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
