Gerald Wayne Jones

Memorial services for Gerald Wayne Jones of Waynesoro will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Jerry L. Robbins officiating. At his request his remains were cremated and will be interred in Collinwood Memorial Gardens. Shackelford Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.Gerald was born June 26, 1956 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Andrew Gerald and Arland Iris Keeton Jones. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by son, Bronson Jones; brother, David Jones; sister, Iris Faye White; brothers-in-law, Las Karpati and William Thomas Helton; and nephew, Jeremy Talley. He died Friday, November 30, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. Gerald, a retired electrician and appliance repairman, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by a brother, Stephen Douglas Jones of Grand Junction, CO; three sisters, Betty Helton, Linda Karpati, and Arland Kaye Balentine all of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.
