Georgia Lucille Vandiver

Mrs. Vandiver passed away Wednesday night at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
She was born January 19, 1933 in Hardeman County to the late George Thomas Grantham and Pattie Jones Ervin Grantham. Mrs. Vandiver married James T. "Pop" Vandiver, who died March 30, 2009 after almost 60 years of marriage and lived all of her life here. She was a charter member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church and attended Ebenezer Baptist Church at Toone.
She is survived by three sons and their wives, Thomas Vandiver and Peggy, Donald Vandiver and Caroline, Ronald Vandiver and Reneé, all of Bolivar; a sister, Frances Taylor of Bolivar; three brothers, Elbert Grantham of Bolivar, Troy Grantham of Toone, Larry Grantham of Bolivar; six grandchildren, Stacy Seaton, Chad Vandiver, Russell Vandiver, Stephen Vandiver, Brigitte Taylor, Rex Vandiver; and eight great grandchildren, Riley Seaton, Katie Seaton, Owen Vandiver, Sara Vandiver, Rachel Vandiver, Mary Caroline Taylor, Isabella Taylor and Addison Vandiver. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Grantham and Wilburn Grantham.
