George Almon Wallace

departed this life on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 85 Year Old. He was born December 2, 1923 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of the late Lee V. and Annie Josie Cody Wallace. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Annie Holt Wallace; son; Ronnie Lee Wallace; great grandson; Zachary Prince and several brothers and sisters. Mr. Wallace was a retired factory worker with Genesco and Waste Management. . He was of the Baptist faith .He is survived by ; his wife Pearl Griggs Wallace of Waynesboro, TN; daughter, Christi Wallace Dunnivant of Collinwood, TN; daughter-in-law, Donna Wallace of Nashville, TN; stepson, Charles Griggs of Waynesboro, TN; stepdaughter, Deborah Griggs of Trenton, TN; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Danville Wallace of Lawrenceburg, TN, Freddie Wallace of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Nellie Helton of Waynesboro, TN, Carlene Butler of Mantee, MS; several nieces and nephews.
