George Reagan Pulliam

October 20, 1916 — April 7, 2008

Mr. Pulliam died Monday evening at his home.



The husband of Royline Brown Pulliam, who survives, he was a farmer. He was born to George Reagan Pulliam, Sr. and Ouida Leola Partridge Pulliam, both of whom preceded him in death, and lived all of his life here. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a Deacon Emeritus for over 25 years at Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.



In addition to his wife, whom he married on February 20, 1955, survivors include a son and daughter in law, Greg and April Pulliam of Bolivar; two grandchildren, Cooper and Ellie Pulliam, both of Bolivar; two brothers, Tommy Pulliam of Bolivar and Boykin Pulliam of Memphis; and a sister, Mary Ouida Powell of Bolivar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Pulliam.
