George "Gary" Garrison

George "Gary" Garrison was born on August 18, 1948 in Graysville, Tennessee, the son of the late Charles Arthur and Evelyn Doris Schlicher Garrison.

On December 9, 1972, he was united in marriage to Terri Copeland, who survives.

Mr. Garrison honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He later retired from Packaging Corporation of America after 33 years of employment.

George "Gary" Garrison departed this life on April 9, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 22 days.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Terri Garrison; son, Danny Carl Garrison; daughter, Carla Elizabeth Garrison; brother, Rhea "Blue" Garrison; sisters, Linda Tobin and Carol Raines; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Butch" Garrison.
