Geneva Ernestine Browder Gibbs

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 6, 1933 the daughter of the late Henry Andrew and Pearl Campbell Browder.

On August 26, 1950 she was united in marriage Herbert Hoover Gibbs, who preceded his wife in death on January 3, 2010.

Geneva worked for the Hardin County Board of Education for six years and the Senior Citizens Center for three years. She was of the Pentecostal belief. Geneva collected Precious Moments and dolls. In her spare time she loved working in her flowers.

She departed this life on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 8 months, and 11 days.

Geneva is survived by her children, Timothy Andrew Gibbs and Debbie Gibbs Shutt, both of Crump, Tennessee; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Gibbs Barham, and one son, David Gene Gibbs.
