GENEVA DARNELL
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 24, 1920 the daughter of the late Robert and Lina Rich Stricklin.
On December 22, 1934 she was united in marriage to Loro Darnell, who preceded his wife in death on September 1, 1950.
Mrs. Darnell was a machine operator for Angelica Uniform Company. She was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Darnell loved to sew and garden and read the Bible.
She departed this life on May 1, 2006 at Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 7 days.
Mrs. Darnell is survived by one son, Larry Darnell of Watkinsville, Georgia and one daughter, Margaret Ann Whalen of Horn Lake, Mississippi.
6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild
One brother, Archie Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee.
Mrs. Darnell was also preceded in death by one 2 sons, Terry and Billy Joe Darnell and 2 brothers, J. B. and Harve D. Stricklin.
