Geneva Evelyn Cannon
was born on March 23, 1926 in Savannah, Tennessee the daughter of the late Herman and Belle Zora Stout Lucas.
On July 27, 1946 she was united in marriage to Granville Isaac Cannon who preceded her in death on September 25, 2003.
Mrs. Cannon worked in a garment factory. She was a member of Eureka Methodist Church and the Widows of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She departed this life on October 28, 2005 at Lewis County Manor in Hohenwald, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 6 days.
Mrs. Cannon is survived by 2 daughters: Donna Kay Rickman and her husband, Royce of Valdosta, Georgia and Sandra Marie Durham and her husband, Jerry of Hohenwald, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren: Julie McCutchen, Jay Rickman, Dixie Lamb, Dara Beth Durham and Devin Durham; and one brother, Bob Lucas of Souderton, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Clateree Holliday and a brother, Dan Lucas.
