Geneva Partridge Barnhardt, 85, of Whiteville, died Monday, November 21, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of Woodrow W. Barnhardt, who died June 2, 1971, she was a legal and medical secretary at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital for 35 years. Mrs. Barnhardt was born March 28, 1920 in Hornsby, daughter of the late Slater and Lillie McClintock Partridge and lived in Jackson most of her life before making her home in Hardeman County in 1986. She loved flowers, making crafts and sewing and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whiteville where she formerly sang in the choir.
Services were 1 pm Friday, November 25, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Bill Sorrell officiating. Burial was in Melrose Cemetery near Whiteville.
Survivors include one sister, Burnell Wright; a niece and her husband, Wendy and Lynn Mills and one grand niece, Caroline Mills, all of Whiteville.
