Gene Farrell Terry, 68, of Toone, died Wednesday morning, April 27 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was a foreman at Lucerne for over 20 years. Mr. Terry was born October 18, 1936 in Chester County, son of the late Ivan Edward Terry and Elmer Cleo Armour Terry and lived here most of his life. He was a member of Toone Baptist Church and loved gardening and hummingbirds.
Services were 4 pm Friday, April 29, at Shackelford Funeral Director's Bolivar Chapel with Duane Moore and Doug Baker officiating. Burial was at Woodville Cemetery near Bethel Springs.
Survivors include four daughters, Susan Stack and Teresa Coats, both of Jackson, Shirl Sanders of Henderson and Gina Powers of Middleton; one son, Tony Terry of Jackson; one sister, Shearon Waldrop of Selmer; one brother, Don Terry of Toone; four grandchildren, B. J. Shields of Ripley, Tenn., Anecia Campbell of Toone, Corey Shields of Henderson and Tyler Coats of Jackson and two great grandchildren, Calie Campbell of Toone and Colby Shields of Henderson.
