Gene Lard

Gene Lard was born July 31, 1941 in Hardin County, TN the son of the late Ellie and Inez Rhodes Lard.He was united in marriage to Peggy Davis on October 15, 1965. Mr. Lard was a retired self-employed commercial fisherman and carpenter. He was a member of the Riverheights Pentecostal Church in Crump, Tennessee. He loved his children and grandchildren.Mr. Lard departed this life on April 26, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 8 Months, 26 Days. He is survived by his wife Peggy (Davis) Lard of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Regina (Lard) Jerrolds of Florence, AL; two sons, Roger Lard and wife Wendy of Savannah, TN, Ronnie Lard of Adamsville, TN; three sisters, Betty Russell and husband Sherman of Bethel Springs, TN, Bernice Siler of Adamsville, TN, Callie White of Jackson, TN; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Amber , Jefawna, Jensen, Justin, Addison, Deonna, Damian; great grandson, Trenton; host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Mr. Lard was preceded in death by a daughter, Deana Renee Lard.
