Gena Dell Jarrell Bolton
was born March 5, 1929 in Itawamba County, Mississippi the daughter of the late Emmett and Clester Owens Jarrell.
On June 23, 1955 she married the Billy Q. Bolton who preceded her in death on December 23, 2001.
During her life Mrs. Bolton worked as an LPN at Hardin Medical Center and Tri-County Nursing Home were she was Director of Nursing. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and attended the Shiloh Baptist Church at Houlka, Mississippi.
Mrs. Bolton departed this life on October 2, 2007 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 78 Years, 7 Months.
She is survived by her 4 daughters: Shirley Adams and Sharon Conley both of Houlka, Mississippi, Billie Lane of Burns, Tennessee, and Cindy Jones of Tupelo, Mississippi; 3 brothers: Wayne Willmarth of Russellville, Alabama, Clifton Jarrell of Fulton, Mississippi, Dean Jarrell of Houlka, Mississippi; 1 sister: Diane Shelby of Bartlett, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren: Jimmie Jarrell Adams, Casey Conley, Gary Allen Adams, Jason Lee Adams, Leslie Posey, Robert Aaron Weisenfels, and Miranda Jones; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Wanda Craig and Nancy Lamley; 1 brother: Emmett Jarrell; 2 grandchildren: Jimmy Lynn Adams and Jennie Lee Adams.
