Services for Gathel E. Millican, age 93, of Wayne County Nursing Home, Waynesboro, TN, will be Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 3:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN with John Hodum officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
She died at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, TN, Friday, August 25, 2006.
Mrs. Millican, a native of Wayne County, TN, was a homemaker and a member of Hickory Springs Holiness Church. She was a daughter of the late Andrew and Lisa Jane Henson, the wife of the late Spencer Millican, and a sister of twelve deceased siblings.
Survivors, daughters, Evelyn Martin and Shirley Daniel, Florence, AL, Von Horton, Cypress Inn, TN, Wanda Thrasher, TN, brother, Noble Blalock, Florence, AL, sisters, Lillie Mae Gilchrist, Florence, AL, Naomi Pelton, Oregon, OH, nine grandchildren,
sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She died at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, TN, Friday, August 25, 2006.
