Gastern I. Thacker was born October 8, 1934 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Hollis and Sallie Butler Mercer.She was united in marriage to Arnold Thacker on April 20, 1951. Mr. Thacker preceded her in death on May 21, 1985 .Mrs. Thacker was a retired factory worker from ITT . She was a member of the Olive Hill Baptist Church. She loved auctions, yard sales, and flea markets. She loved being with her family.Mrs. Thacker departed this life on November 30, 2007 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 1 Month, 22 Days.She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Ramer of Ramer, TN; two sons, Tommy Thacker and wife Lynn of Collierville, TN, Billy Thacker and wife Edith of Ramer ; three sisters, Ruth Bray and husband Lonnie of Ramer, TN, Tina Rickman and husband John of Lexington, TN, Pam Stanfield and husband Brian of Ramer, TN; two brothers, Foya Dale Mercer of Guys, TN, Hollis Mercer of Ramer, TN; six grandchildren, Barry Thacker, Stephanie Jarnagin and Virgil, April James and Ricky, Jeremy Thacker, Benjamin Prince, Whitney Thacker; seven great grandchildren, Tyler Steen, Sara Steen, Bethanie Ramer, Austin Ramer, Madicole Jarnagin, Prestin James, Kaliegh Thacker.
