Gary Rippy

Gary Rippy departed this life on Monday, January 21, 2013, at the age of 59 years, 10 months, 13 days.He was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on March 8, 1953, the son of Jimmy James Rippy and the late Mary Lois Pipes Rippy. Gary was a lifelong Hardin Countian. He had worked as a Commercial Fisherman,with Ingram Towing, and was a tankerman for the US Coast Guard. He enjoyed fishing and carpentry.In addition to his father, Jimmy James Rippy of Savannah, Tennessee; he is survived by a brother, Billy Joe Rippy of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Dorothy Deshazier, Doris Plunk, Betty Tarkington, and Linda Eliff all of Savannah, Tennessee.
