Gary Wayne Cook

Gary Wayne Cook of Waynesboro, TN departed this life Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama at the age of 59 Years, 2 Months, 1 Day. He was born February 18, 1959 in Savannah, TN, the son of Thomas Earl and Sarah Ann Thompson Cook of Waynesboro, TN, who survive.

He married Judy Harvey on February 13, 1981 and was the owner and operator of C and G Auto Parts in Waynesboro, TN, former owner and operator of Eagle Creek Garage and a member of the Wayne County 911 Board.

Other than his parents, survivors are his wife Judy Harvey Cook, Waynesboro, TN; son, Justin Wayne Cook, wife, Stephanie of Madison, AL; daughter, Kelsey Cook Davis, husband, Will of Waynesboro, TN and grandchildren, Charli Annette Cook and Carson Grae Cook.

Services will be Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tracy Love, officiating. Burial will follow in Shipman Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Tommy Tinin, Ira Harvey, Jerry Prater, Alford Davidson, Adam Davidson, Steve Smith and Daryl Balentine with David Brown as a honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 21,2018 from 6 - 8 pm and Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
