Garry R. Robinson

Garry R. Robinson of Selmer, TN departed this life on June 27, 2019 in his home at the age of 62 Years, 10 Months. He was born August 27, 1956 in McNairy County, TN the son of Jennettea Atkins McCory and the late Robert Dee Robinson.

Garry was a member of Forrest Hill church of Christ in Selmer. He was in charge of Maintenance at the Selmer Walmart having received his 20 year Associate Recognition Badge. Prior to his employment at Walmart, Garry worked 17 years at Brown Shoe Company in Selmer followed by 6 years doing maintenance at the McNairy County Health Care Center.

Garry wanted to stay fit and regularly worked out four to five days a week. He enjoyed being with and making memories with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by a daughter, Vanity C. Robinson; three sons, Brian G. Robinson, Joshua J. Robinson, and Nicholas J. Robinson, all of Selmer; his mother, Jennettea McCory of Selmer; 12 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandson; three sisters, Shelia Brand of Nashville, TN, Gwender Robinson of Henderson, TN, and Judy Simmons of Selmer; four brothers, Henry Robinson of Selmer, Phillip Robinson of Jackson, TN, Cecil Robinson of Selmer, and Fredrick McCory of Selmer; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his father, Garry was preceded in death by a grandson.
