Garlen Gean

Garlen (Rick) Geanwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 11, 1930 the son of the late Charlie and Georgie Crotts Gean.On January 2, 1965 he was united in marriage to Ruby Jo Scott, who survives.Mr. Gean was raised in Walnut Grove, Tennessee. He enjoyed working in his garage fixing things.Mr. Gean departed this life on December 3, 2010 at the age of 80 years, 6 months, 22 days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Gean is survived by a son, Gary Gean of Elk Grove Village, Illinois; a daughter, Pam Zelenka of Bolingbrook, Illinois; 3 grandchildren, Jesse Gean, Kristy Gean, and Lauren Zelenka; 3 great grandchildren, Lexi, Laci, and Lani Troung; a brother Aaron Gean of Florence, Alabama.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters.
