Mrs. Williams worked as the floor manager for a clothes factory. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers.

She is survived by her son, James McNeil of Belle Chasse, Louisiana; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gale was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Loyd McNeil.
