Gaddie Louise Tull Naylor was born April 1, 1923 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jasper and Elizabeth Lorranine Wyatt Tull.
She was united in marriage to Johnny H. Naylor on October 31, 1941. Mr. Naylor preceded her in death on August 21, 1978 after 36 years of marriage.
Mrs. Naylor retired from Western Mental Health Institute in Bolivar, where she worked as a Dietician for 12 years. She loved raising flowers in her garden, and enjoyed crocheting. Mrs. Naylor was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
Mrs. Naylor departed this life on January 9, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 9 Months, 8 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Louise Watkins of Saulsbury, TN and Shearye Davis and husband Ricky of Little Rock, AR; two sons, James Allen Naylor and wife Patricia of Bethel Springs, TN and Dennis Naylor and wife Nelda of Michie, TN; eleven grandchildren: Darlene Matthews of Medon, TN, Tammie Louise Hammons of Hickory Valley, TN, Rosa Hensley of Victoria, MS, John Turner of Middleton, TN, Jimmy Naylor of Ramer, TN, Renee Simmons of Savannah, TN, Shea Ballentine of Savannah, TN, James Holt of Little Rock, AR, Jedediah Holt of Little Rock, AR, Wayne Holt of Phoenix, AZ, and Elizabeth Holt of Stockbridge, GA; 28 great- grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Naylor was preceded in death by
a sister, Minlena Russom; two step-sisters, Aslee Mullin and Georgie Cooper; and two step-brothers, Henry Tull and Bufford Tull.
