Freddie Tenry

Freddie Tenry departed this life on Monday, November 4, 2013, at the age of 73 years, 8 months, 22 days.

He was born in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Welton and Edna Bishop Tenry. On March 27, 1961, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Thompson, who survives.

Mr. Tenry served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962, he was stationed in Antarctica during his service. He had worked at PCA in Counce, Tennessee for 44 years and was a crew leader. Mr. Tenry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Adamsville, Tennessee and the Adamsville F&AM Lodge #338. He was a very loving husband and father. He loved his church, family, and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Jane Thompson Tenry of Adamsville, Tennessee; son, Anthony Wayne Tenry of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Tina Ragsdale and husband Brent of Germantown, Tennessee; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ryan Ragsdale, Garrison Tenry Ragsdale, and Rebecca Tenry; sister, Helen Cagle and husband Houston of Phoenix, Arizona.
