Services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Pine Hill Church of Christ in Waterloo, Alabama, with Arvel Curtis and Wayne Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Church of Christ Cemetery ,Waterloo, Alabama with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements



Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 18, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday, May 19, 11:00 am until service time at Pine Hill Church of Christ, Waterloo, AL



Mr. Faires departed this life on Monday, May 17, 2010 at his residence in Cypress Inn, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 6 Months, 12 Days. He was born November 5, 1937 in Lauderdale, Alabama the son of the late Cleo H. and Gertie L. Simon Faires. In addition to his parents, Mr. Faires was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Franklin Faires; sisters, Sharon Faires, and Shelba Faires.



Mr. Faires was a Corrections Officer . He was a member of the Pine Hill Church of Christ in Waterloo, Alabama.



He was united in marriage to Jeanette Berry on July 1, 1967.



He is survived by ;his wife Jeanette (Berry) Faires of Cypress Inn, TN;

son, Roger Faires and wife Sherry of Collinwood, TN; daughters, Renee Box and friend Rafael Bautista of Cypress Inn, TN, Rebecca Wright and husband Randall of Florence, AL;



grandchildren; Tasha Stonecipher and Seth, Lakin Box, Andrew Box, Amber Burbank, Cody Wright, Josh Haddock;

great grandchild; Hunter Stonecipher
