Fred Lee Sego

Residence - Savannah, TNFRED LEE SEGOwas born in Waterloo, Alabama on June 14, 1918 the son of the late Samual Turner and Millie Frances Williams Sego.On July 7, 1941 he was united in marriage to the former Dorothy Bell, who preceded her husband in death on August 26, 1997. On April 15, 1998 he was united in marriage to the former Edith Sharp, who survives.Mr. Sego was a machinest for Henco in Niles, Michigan. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mr. Sego was a former employee of Savannah Machine Shop. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.Mr. Sego departed this life on April 10, 2007 at Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 28 days.Other than his wife, Edith of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 sons, Fred Allen Sego of Jackson, Tennessee and John Wayne Sego of South Bend, Indiana.one daughter, Donna Maria Hunt of Savannah, Tennessee.7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildrenone brother, Loyal Sego of Florence, Alabama one sister, Wilma Hart of Florence, Alabama.Mr. Sego was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank Sego and 3 sisters, Madaline Parker, May Scott and Cora Murphy.Services were held Thurs. 4-12-07 at 1PM in the Shackelford Chapel with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial in Pisgah Cemetery.
