Fred Eugene McClendon

Fred Eugene McClendon, 86, of Bolivar, died Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was born September 23, 1919 in Toone, the son of Jesse Thomas McClendon and Nina Jones McClendon and lived in Olive Branch for many years before returning to Hardeman County 15 years ago. Mr. McClendon was a member of Bolivar First United Methodist Church. He was a machinist and loved old music and cars and tinkering with old radios.
Graveside services were 3 p.m. August 1, 2006 at Rainey Cemetery near Toone with David Cooper officiating.
He leaves two sisters, Louise Nuckolls, Ruth Leinart and her husband, Odell, all of Chattanooga; one brother, James L. McClendon of Lexington and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, J. T. McClendon.
