Fred Bernis Bowling

FRED BERNIS (BEAN) BOWLINGwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 8, 1936 the son of the late Fred Burton and Gladys Lucille Thurman Bowling.In July of 1957 he was united in marriage to the former Helen Joyce Rose, who preceded her husband in death on May 3, 2001.Mr. Bowling was a heavy machine operator for Vulcan Materials. He was a member of Nixon Pentecostal Church. Working was his hobby, he enjoyed people, especially people at Vulcan. Mr. Bowling was a prankster. He loved being around young people and had a spiritual gift of being able to touch their lives. Mr. Bowling departed this life on November 6, 2007 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 29 days.He is survived by one sister, Barbara Coleman and her husband Bayward of Savannah, Tennessee.a special friend, Betty Davison of Savannah, Tennessee.several nieces and nephews and a host of friendsMr. Bowling was also preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Hudson.
