Franklin D. McCommon, 75, of Saulsbury, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 Pleasant View Health Care Center. Born May 24, 1933 to George B. and Dora May Bryant McCommon, he was a member of West Memorial Baptist Church and a lifelong farmer in Hardeman County. Having never married, he is survived by one sister, Lena Wilson of Mercer, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and George McCommon, Jr. and one half-brother W. C. McCommon.
