Franklin Chandler McClain

Franklin Chandler McClain was born May 29, 1998 in Booneville, MS, the son of Mary Mechelle Tice McClain and the late Jerry Keith McClain. 

He was a McNairy Central High School Graduate where he was a member of the Hammer Heads. He formerly was a team leader at Arvin Sango in Henderson and currently working at Monogram. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bethel Springs. He would help the Purdy Mansion during Halloween. Chandler was an artist with some of his work displayed at Coon Creek for a time. He enjoyed watching Alabama play, welding, beatboxing, singing, and drifting with his buddies in a local field.

Chandler was a very respectful young man and always willing to help others. Although he lived a short life, he lived a full and exciting life. His smile brightened the hearts of all who knew him. He will be loved and missed by all.

He departed this life on February 12, 2023 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 24 Years, 8 Months, 14 Days.

Chandler is survived by his mother, Mary McClain; sister, Savannah Tice and her daughter, Chevy Blair Tice; brother, Joseph Dalton McClain and his son, Carter McClain all of Bethel Springs, TN; brother, Chad McClain, wife Belinda of Memphis, TN; Caroline Dawn McClain of Orlando, FL; Molly Sue Pierson and children, Memphis and Mia Pierson all of Orlando, FL; grandparents: Mary Tice of Saltillo, MS, Dale Tice of Cleveland, MS, and Bettye Sue McClain of Gravel Hill, TN; aunts and uncles:  Susan McClain of Bethel Springs, TN, Jan and Dennis Parson of Counce, TN, Sherry Crumby and husband Tommy of Gravel Hill, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Mr. McClain was preceded in death by a grandfather, Jimmy McClain; aunt and uncles, Mike McClain, Melody Clayton, Greg Tice, Nancy and Jimmy Dan Burns; great nephew, Ashe McClain.
