Franklin D. Mauldon

Services for Franklin D. (Frankie) Mauldon, age 62, of Iron City, TN, will be Sunday, April 8, 2007 at 3 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood, TN with Everett Rich and Alfred Strait officiating. Burial will be in Whitten’s Crossroads Cemetery, Iron City, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Cody Jackson, Randy and James Owen Bratton, Trey Holland, Shannon and Jamie Cheeks. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg and Steve Mauldon and Gary and Mike Gandy. He died at his home on Friday, April 6, 2007 after an extended illness.



Mr. Mauldon, a native of Lutts, TN, was a disabled core maker with Imperial Casting and was a son of the late James William and Hatti Jewel Patterson Mauldon.



Survivors include, wife, Carolyn Gallian Mauldon, Iron City, sons, Anthony Dewayne Mauldon, Iron City, Christopher Shane Mauldon and wife, Sabrina Daniel Mauldon, Collinwood, daughter, Amanda Michelle Payne and husband, Jason Payne, Iron City, randchildren, Lexie and Alex Mauldon, brother, Glenn Mauldon, Lansing, MI, sisters, Golena Bratton, Earline Lindsey, Inez Gandy, Ann Frazier all of Florence, AL, June Holland, Tuscumbia, AL, Fay Bouchillon, Nashville, TN, several nieces and nephews.
