Frankie Kendall Davis McClain

Frankie Kendall Davis McClain was born October 4, 1934 in Savannah, Tennessee the daughter of the late Frank Hurry and Alyce Mae Malone Kendall.

On June 4, 1981 she was united in marriage to Jimmy D. McClain, who survives.

Mrs. McClain was of Methodist belief and worked as a grocery store owner for 45 years.

She departed this life on August 31, 2005 at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 27 days.

Mrs. McClain is survived by

her husband, Jimmy D. McClain,

one daughter, Marie Davis Coleman,

one son, Jimmy Davis, all of Savannah, Tennessee;

4 grandchildren:

Latonia Adkisson, Jimmi Lynn Davis, and Jordan Davis, all of Savannah,

Chris Coleman of Knoxville, Tennessee;

3 great-grandchildren:

Kendall and Walker Adkisson of Savannah, Tennessee,

Ava Coleman of Knoxville, Tennessee;

and one sister, Mary Jane Essary of Corinth, Mississippi.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Julia Davis.
