Frank Southern, Jr. departed this life on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the age of 81 years, 2 months, and 19 days. He was born in Savannah, Tennessee, on May 6, 1941, the son of the late Frank Sr. and Martha Irvin Southern. On April 14, 1967, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Brown, who survives.
Frank served in the National Guard and had worked for Angelica Manufacturing and as a mechanic for Savannah Tractor. He was a member of Mt. View Church of Christ. He loved his family and gardening, fishing, and farming.
Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Southern; daughters, Angela Beasley and her husband Roy, and Nancy Teboe and her husband Billy; sisters, Martha Ann Southern and Dean Copeland, all of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Zoey-Jane Clark and Kaitlyn Beasley.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin Southern, Millard Southern, and James Alfred Southern; and a sister, Jo Kate Copeland.
