Frank Durbin departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 18 days. He was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on January 10, 1939, the son of the late Cleamon and Elsie Mae Franks Durbin. On October 14, 1958, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Oakley, who survives.
Frank served honorably in the United States Navy. Throughout the years, he had different jobs,Hunter, Smith, and Talent, Riverside Restaurant, logger, commercial fisherman, and was a used restaurant equipment dealer. He was a member of the Mt. View Church of Christ. Frank enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking. He loved his family, enjoyed his pets and feeding people.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Durbin of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Brian Durbin of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Laura Allen of Savannah, Tennessee and Lisa Smith and her husband Steve of Clifton, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amanda Terry and husband Tim, Beth Morris and husband Josh, Alesha Casteel, Christina White and husband Nickelus, Sarah Kiddy and husband Brandon, Mark Smith and wife Ashley, and Brian E. Durbin and wife Kenya; great-grandchildren, Madison Morris, Colton Morris, Bella White, Parker White, Cade Smith, Anaya Jane Durbin; sisters, Nancy Weaver and Carolyne Curtis, both of Savannah, Tennessee, and Jimmie Gayle Pickens of Crump, Tennessee; brothers, Ronnie Durbin and wife Kim, and Donnie Durbin and wife Carmin, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister, Reba Vance and brother, James (Cob) Durbin.
