Frank Edmund Arnold

EDMUND "SHINNY" ARNOLD

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 21, 1937 the son of the late Talmadge and Eunice Inez Cherry Arnold.

Edmund was the owner and operator of Arnold's Shoe Store and also was a Taxi Driver. Edmund attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding and watching TV. His greatest joy in life was going to watch his grandchildren's ballgames.

He was united in marriage to Nellie Faye Laster, who survives.

Edmund departed this life on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 5 days.

In addition to his beloved Nellie of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Gregory Lynn Arnold of Guntersville, Alabama, Kimberly A. Godwin of Savannah, Tennessee and Kristie Mathis of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Alicia Shaw, Mallory Mathis, Matthew Mathis, Morgan Mathis, Alex Godwin and Nick Godwin; sister, Shirley Ann Wilson and her husband Larry of Savannah, Tennessee; and sister in law, Nellie Ruth Arnold of Savannah, Tennessee

Edmund was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Frank Anthony Arnold and one brother, Dwight Arnold.
