Francis Kaye Taylor Lawless was born July 23, 1935 in Ramer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Emmett C. and Ilene Taylor.
On July 23, 1981 she was united in marriage to Lyndell McClenden Lawless who preceded her in death on April 25, 2007.
Mrs. Lawless attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and Memphis State where she obtained degrees in teaching and psychology. She taught school in Ramer, Tennessee, Ruislip England, Fairborne, Ohio, Alamargordo, New Mexico and Memphis, Tennessee. She ended her teaching career in Portland, Oregon after 40 years of teaching. While she was teaching in Memphis, she was a member of a team of teachers known as Race Relations whose purpose was to put together strategies on how to successfully desegregate Memphis Public Schools.
She departed this life on June 14, 2007 in Portland, Oregon, at the age of 71 Years, 10 Months, 22 Days. Mrs. Lawless is survived by four daughters, Charlotte Buchanan of Lebanon, Tennessee, Margaret Otis of Redding, California, Ruth Williams of Forest Grove, Oregon and Kathy Lawless of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; fours sons, Stuart Andrews of Portland, Oregon, Craig Andrews of Memphis, Tennessee, Scott Andrews of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Wayne Lawless of Tukwila, Washington; three sisters, Mary Jean Miller, Betty Huggins, Pat Elam; one brother, Tom Taylor; 20 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
