Francis Hendrix

Francis Hendrix was born August 26, 1928 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late William Richard and Mary Ophelia Owen Hendrix.He was united in marriage to Dorothy Holmes on September 17, 1949. Mrs. Hendrix preceded him in death on November 8, 1982.Mr. Hendrix was a Assistant Road Superintendent for over 20 years at McNairy County Hwy Department before retirement. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Purdy.He departed this life on September 29, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 1 Month, 3 Days.He is survived by a daughter, Angie Pearson and husband R. D. of Stantonville, TN; a son, Danny Hendrix of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren, Danny Hurst and wife Debbie of Jackson, TN, Jeremy Hurst and wife Bridget of Selmer, TN, Carmen Phillips and husband Chris of Eastview, TN; nine great grandchildren, Cannon , Brennan , Avery , Abigal , Hunter , Katherine , Sara Beth , Harrison and Carson.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by a sister, Evie Hill; three brothers, Rueben Hendrix, Vernon Hendrix and an Infant brother.
