FRANCES HAGGARD SHARPE
was born on February 11, 1928, in Crump, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Johnny William and Mary Bell Haggard.
She was united in marriage to Vernon Sharpe on December 25, 1947, who preceded his wife in death on January 15, 1996.
Mrs. Sharpe retired from Tennessee River Pulp and Paper Company where she worked as a Payroll Supervisor. She was a member of East End United Methodist Church. Mrs. Sharpe enjoyed sewing, gardening, traveling, reading and most of all she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.
She departed this life on May 22, 2013 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 11 days.
Mrs. Sharpe is survived by her daughter, Stacy Sharpe Smith and her husband Dewey of West Memphis, Arkansas
two grandchildren, Jake Turner Smith and Shephard Smith
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Edith Stricklin and three brothers, Jimmy, Milburn and Bobby Haggard
