Frances Eldene Reynolds Robinson
August 20, 1928 – August 21, 2008
On August 20, 1928, God blessed Jamie and Mirl Reynolds with a beautiful, dark haired girl named Frances Eldene Reynolds, who was the eldest of 10 children. Eighty years later God took her back home to her loving husband, Robert Earl Robinson, whom she married on April 14, 1947, and preceded her in death on June 19, 1986, and son Gerry Elton Robinson, whom preceded her in death on September 9, 1977. She leaves behind a loving son, Jimmy Earl Robinson and devoted daughter, Freeda Elaine Robinson Ashe (Ron Ashe) and six grandchildren, Paige Ashe-McLean (David McLean), Chasity Robinson McWhirter (Barry McWhirter), Robin Ashe (Megan Ashe), Jamie Crabb, Kala Traylor, and Whit Ashe. She also leaves ten great-granchildren, Declan and Ashlan McLean, Anna Frances McWhirter, Morgan and Madison Ashe, Dylan and Drake Crabb, and Maggie, Tressa, and Emma Grace Traylor. She leaves eight bothers and sisters, Roxie Livengood, Emma Lutrell, Rilla Worshum, Irene Robinson, Frank Reynolds, Harris Reynolds, Danny Reynolds, and James Reynolds, and infant brother Tommy Reynolds who preceded her in death and dozens of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her very much.
Upon graduating from Central High School, she provided for her family through factory work, and continued working her entire life. After losing her husband, Mrs. Robinson also worked at Wal-Mart part time and then at the Hardin County Senior Center until June of 2008. She grew up and raised her family in the Burnt Church community of Hardin County. She was a member of Campground United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Savannah Chapter.
