Frances Berry Roberson

Frances Berry Roberson of Orange Beach, AL was born May 7, 1943 in Cypress Inn, TN, the daughter of the late John Richard Berry and Ruth Ann Erwin Berry. She had worked in appartment services and management and was a member of the Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee.

Mrs. Roberson departed this life on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at her home at the age of 78 Years and 1 Day.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Ray Horton of Orange Beach, AL; a daughter, Drunitha Horton of Summerdale, AL; grandchildren, Kristy Fernandes and husband, Mauricio and Ashley Aney and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Braxton Moses, Maverick Fernandes, Saylor Grace Aney and Gaga Aney; two sisters, Betty Ruth Horton of Cypress Inn, TN and Martha Richardson of Iron City, TN and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberson was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Roberson; a daughter, Gaye Helen Horton; two brothers, John Robert Berry and Paul Allen Berry; a sister, Mary Ann Borden and her former husband and the father of her children, Donald Ray Horton.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks and Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 10 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bronson Berry, Ray Stooksberry, Braxton Moses, Richard Berry, Kenny Reaves and Jeff Berry with honorary pallbearers being Jim Harwell, Tim Horton, Chris Aney, Brenson Berry and Mauricio Fernandes.
