Frances Adean Pigg

Funeral services for Frances Adean Pigg, age 87, of Iron City, TN will be Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 11 am at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood, TN with Perry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lutts, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Bennie, Brandon, Justin, Russell, and Junior Pigg and Heath Lambert. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.



She died at E. C. M. Hospital in Florence, AL on Monday, February 11, 2008.



A native of Wayne County, TN, Mrs. Pigg was a homemaker and a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Minnie Wright Roberson, her husband, John Ivan Pigg, a son, Billy Joe Pigg, a granddaughter, Emily Christine Pigg, and a brother, Ernest Roberson.



Survivors, sons, Johnny I. Pigg and wife, Carole, Tommy Pigg and wife, Diann, Roy Pigg and wife, Donna all of Iron City, TN; daughter, Susan Whitten and husband, Mike of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren, Johnny Pigg, Jr., Elizabeth Pigg, Melissa Whitten, Kelly Loyd, Russell Pigg, Justin Pigg, and Michelle Pigg; brothers, Carl Roberson, Muscle Shoals, AL, Randall Roberson, Florence, AL; several nieces and nephews.
