Frances Louise Kontos

Mrs. Kontos passed away Friday evening, Feb. 1 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of Roy Stanley Kontos, who died in 1969, she was retired as a receptionist with Grand Valley Lakes. She was born in Nashville, daughter of the late William Wayne Smith and Thelma Taylor Smith. Mrs. Kontos was a member of Jackson First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Pam and Jimmy McLain of Toone; a son and his wife, Jeffrey Lynn and Louise Kontos of Albuquerque, NM; and two grandsons, Cory Mathew McLain and Roy Stanley Kontos, II. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earnest Taylor and a sister in law, Peggy Taylor.
