Frances Nell Kilburn

Frances Nell Kilburn of Waynesboro, TN was born November 17, 1925 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late Edgar and Waymon Gallaher Kilburn. Miss Kilburn was a retired school teacher, a member of Wayne County Retired Teachers Association, the Order of the Eastern Star in lawrenceburg, TN, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.Miss Kilburn departed this life on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 4 Months, 4 Days.She is survived by a brother, Robert Kilburn and wife, Teresa of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Kathryn Barnett of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Miss Kilburn was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Howard Kilburn; a nephew, Hunter Kilburn.Services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the John Lay Cemetery at Ethridge, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.Visitation will be Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
