Funeral services for Frances McGee Farris, age 86, of Collinwood, TN is One p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Shackelford Chapel in Collinwood with Chris Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors officiating.
Mrs. Farris, a native of Wayne County, died at her home Saturday, September 9, 2006. She was a daughter of the late John G. McGee and Ella Calloway McGee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Farris, Jr; daughter, Claudella Garmon; brothers, Ted McGee, Nick McGee, Foster McGee; and sisters, John Ella Patterson, Calla Mae McGee, and Gypsy Branscomb. Mrs. Farris was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church in Collinwood.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Tanya Blomeley and her husband Brian of Madison, AL; great grandchildren, Aubrey Blomeley and Briley Blomeley; and a sister, Edna Earl Thomason of Lawrenceburg.
