Frances Marie Pigg Daniel

Frances Marie Pigg Daniel was born March 6, 1925 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Jerry Thomas and Josie Adeline Reeves Pigg. She was united in marriage to James Marcus Daniel in Florence, AL on May,17 1945 and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2015. Mrs. Daniel departed this life on December 28, 2019 at St. Mary's of Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan at the age of 94 years surrounded by family members.

Mrs. Daniel was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinwood, TN.

She is survived by two sons, J. Darwin Daniel and wife, Brenda of Troy, MI and Roger M. Daniel and wife, Jeanine of Westpoint, TN; two daughters, Roberta M. Odor and husband, Gary of Plymouth, MI and Debra F. DeMoss and husband, Mark of Flower Mound, TX; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda L. Jones in 2018.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Barry Jones and Mark DeMoss officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Odor, Shannon Jones, Trevor Daniel, Jason Odor, Daniel DeMoss, Luke DeMoss and Jordan Odor.
